Resilience

At the end of 2019, I found myself on an unintentional seven year hiatus from any serious art-making. I was slightly shocked and sad, but also filled with passion to make up for lost time. I resolved by setting the goal to make so much artwork, that by the end of 2020 I would be embarrassed of the work I made at the beginning of the year. Thanks to the pandemic, I was able to shut myself away and make more art than ever before. The very first collection I created was First Assumptions. I, however, did not reach my goal of being embarrassed of my initial work. My art has grown and evolved, but I still cherish these early pieces.
